台北101已經開始籌畫最令人期待的煙火表演秀讓百萬民眾在跨年夜倒數並慶祝2010的到來。
Aiming to create wonderful memories for the countless New Year revelers in Taiwan and abroad, the management of the world's tallest building is preparing for the setoff of the largest number of fireworks this year, 22,000 in all, topping all previous records and representing an increase of 6,600 over last year.
期望為無數的國內外慶祝者在跨年留下美好回憶，今年台北101管理當局準備了歷年來規模最大的煙火，總數達22,000發，比去年多增加了6,600發。
A total of 1,700 fireworks will go off simultaneously to create a truly spectacular sight ever seen.
1700發煙火齊放，將是從未見過的壯觀景象。
This will be the first time with the firing of fireworks at the various angles of 180, 90, 45 and 30 degrees from the high-rise structure. There will also be two fireworks layers to cover the diverse angles. The overall presentation will be much more magnificent. In particular, this year, the 3-inch barrel-fireworks permitted by fire regulations allows further range and a larger scale.
今年的煙火將會是第一次從不同角度發放，包括從101的180、90、45及30度等不同角度；而這些角度的煙火將會以2段式呈現。整體的煙火表演將會更為壯麗。尤其今年獲得煙火管理當局允許發放三吋管径煙火，使射程及規模都提升。
Brand new moving fireworks, combination fireworks and new dazzling colors are to be utilized this year for fire wheel fireworks, drifting star fireworks and bouquet shower fireworks, challenging the limit of low altitude combination fireworks.
全新的跑動式煙火，複合式煙火，及新的炫麗顏色都將應用到今年的火輪煙火、遊星火束、以及時雨花束等，將挑戰低海拔複合式煙火的極限。
In order to ensure absolute brilliance during the 188-second fireworks display, the program begins with the first layer of the fireworks show, Pili Flashing Fireworks, to initiate the countdown for New Year.
為了確保這188秒的煙火秀能夠完美演出，煙火計畫將由第一層煙火秀來開起序幕，名為「霹靂閃爍煙火秀」
The second layer, Parade Bouquet, is described as “flying fireworks,” creating a visual effect of moving, running and dancing fireworks.
第二層「花束遊行」被形容是飛舞的煙火，將會在視覺上產生如行走、跑、及跳舞等動作的煙火。
The drifting star fireworks will be fired in various directions to generate astonishing visual effects. The bouquet fireworks, a new design, will be ignited horizontally at 180 degrees to create a feeling that the building is blossoming in brilliant colors.
「遊星火束」將從不同角度發射並產生驚人的視覺效果。 而今年新的設計花束煙火將會在水平180度點燃讓101看起來像是有許多不同色澤且盛開的花朵。
The computer-controlled moving fireworks, coupled with contrasting and vibrant colors, will make the fireworks appear more resplendent and vivacious.
由電腦控制且結合鮮明對立顏色的移動煙火將讓煙火看起來更華麗起活潑生動。
A combination of candle lights and fire wheels will also be used for the first time. These fireworks intertwine to form a fiery network of flames, with the rotating fire wheel shuttling in between.
此次煙火秀也將第一次結合燭光及火輪。這些煙火彼此糾結形成一個火焰網，而轉動火輪則在中間穿梭著。
To make the fireworks show still more interesting, the Taipei 101 Tower will be given a fiery golden crown.

The management is collaborating with Lion Travel Agency to hold the highest “Light Taiwan Taipei 101 New Year's Party” with a live band, magic show and dance show as well as raffles and more at the Observatory on the 89th floor so that people can welcome 2010 in a joyous atmosphere.
委由雄獅旅行社舉辦的「Light Taiwan台北跨年轟趴」活動，有現場演奏樂團，魔術及舞蹈表演，摸獎活動等，民眾可以在歡愉的氣氛下迎接2010。
Furthermore, large-bore fireworks will be installed on the upper and lower deck platform of the Observatory, so that the crowd can experience the awesome power of the fireworks.
此外，大型的煙火將安裝在觀景露天平台的上下方，與會者可以在煙火施放時感受其威力。
